This simple project establishes a single-storey volume that infills the south-west facing corner to a 1990s suburban house, to make for a pleasantly lit dining room in which to enjoy the evening sun. The positioning of the extension integrates the existing ground floor living and dining spaces to create a new generous living area overlooking the garden. A large skylight brings warm top light into the centre of the house and a large sliding door maximises openness to the garden.
