The intimate nature of the programme demanded cellular rooms within a deep plan with one external wall on a minimum budget and time frame, as works had to be completed during summer months. Large door vision panels borrow light into the corridors, set at a lower but wider than normal position, obscuring eye contact. The colour palette has been chosen to emphasize a slightly domestic character, with some maple architraves and beads in locations where it might be appreciated.
